While at Medical School, Joe & friends formed a Music Group called The Ramblers. They were quite popular in Trivandrum & had various gigs & events. On passing out from Medical School, Joe worked for a short period in Kerala before moving to Tanzania. He worked in Darasalam for 3 years & really enjoyed his time there, with good friends & colleagues. He often spoke about his days in Tanzania with nostalgia & much fondness. From Tanzania Joe travelled to Nigeria to work in Kano for 3 years. It was while working in Nigeria that he got married to me. We had 2 happy years in Nigeria, & then we moved to London England. We lived in Aberystwyth, Wales, London & Northampton while Joe was working & training to become an Orthopaedic surgeon.
